I had the most amazing stay at this hotel in Brecon. The hosts, John and Carole, were incredibly welcoming and made me feel like a part of their family. John's knowledge of the area and hiking trails was invaluable, and he even offered to drop me off and pick me up from various locations. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious, especially with the fresh eggs from their own chickens. The rooms were comfortable and had nice touches like eco-friendly toiletries in the ensuite bathroom. The hotel's location was perfect, as it was close to areas where I could go for beautiful walks. an excellent value for money and a great place for outdoor enthusiasts like myself.

Everything was perfect, couldn't ask for more.

Stayed there for Christmas and it was lovely. The food is amazing and the location is perfect for walks and exploring the surrounding area. The hosts provide really helpful advice and information for planning hikes, and they even helped us find the best route for cycling. The historic building's decor makes you feel at home, with comfortable beds and lovely views from the windows. Plus, the owners provide great hospitality and really make an effort to ensure you're happy.

That the bathroom was a bit small, but it was clean and functional. Would have been nice to have a bit more space, especially for families or those sharing a room.

Had a great stay before hiking in the beautiful Brecon Beacons. the hosts were friendly and non-intrusive, providing a warm welcome. the room was comfortable, quiet, and well-stocked with hot drinks. the environmentally friendly toiletries in the bathroom were a nice touch. Breakfast was delicious and the opportunity to chat with other guests was enjoyable. the location is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts, with knowledgeable hosts who can provide advice and equipment. DISLIKES: Limited time to explore the surrounding countryside due to a family wedding. Would have loved more time for gentle cycling or walking.

First of all, I must say that I was pleasantly surprised by the value for money at this hotel. I expected it to be quite expensive, but the prices were actually quite reasonable for the quality of the accommodation. Additionally, the attention to detail in this hotel is superb. From the eco-friendly toiletries in the ensuite bathroom to the cozy touches in the rooms, everything was thoughtfully provided.

All in all, my stay at this hotel was fantastic and there was nothing that I could fault.
